Earthquakes

A 6.0 earthquake hit the coast of New Zealand at 4:34 p.m. At 38S and 179E, aftershocks continue to happen. There was no damage reported and there were no deaths or injuries.

Molucca Sea Quake

The Australian plate is now active. On Monday November 14th at 4:05 a 6.3 quake hit in the Molucca Sea. No tsunamis are expected. The quake epicenter was located at 1 south and 126E, no damage was reported.

Virgin Islands Shakin'

The northern edge of the Caribbean Plate continues to get jammed and responds by shifting and shimming and lots of quakes, the strongest 4.9 off the Virgin Islands with lots of smaller quakes. Oklahoma continues to have pretty good aftershocks and with nothing much above 5 the rest of the world is fairly quiet.

Friday is not looking too shaky, so far. Many of the usual suspects and the unusual US locations are NOT on the list today.
